CE Europa achieves a tight victory against Ejea (1-2)

Europa played and won 1-2 as a visitor in last Sunday’s match at the Municipal Stadium of Luchán. Ejea entered the game with the intention of adding more points to their locker after drawing 0-0 in the last duel against Badalona. Regarding the visiting team, CE Europa had just beaten Peña Deportiva 1-0 in their stadium in the last match played. Thanks to this result, the Barcelona team is seventeenth, while Ejea is eighteenth at the end of the match.

In the first half neither team was successful in front of goal, so the first 45 minutes ended with the same result of 0-0.

After the halfway point in the match came the goal for Ejea, who took advantage of the opportunity to open the scoring through a penalty from Álex Sánchez in the 73rd minute. However, CE Europa managed to equalize, making it 1-1 thanks to Vidal’s goal in the 88th minute. Once again the visiting team scored, who managed to come back thanks to a goal from the penalty spot by Albert Marti on the verge of the end. , in the 90th minute, ending the match with a result of 1-2 on the scoreboard.

The Ejea coach, Iván Martínez, brought Rubén Garcés, Javi Álamo, Barrero and Alberto De Sus onto the field to replace Moustapha, Iosu Villar, Jimenez and Alex Chico, while Vilajoana replaced Vidal, Marc Esteban, Alfons Serra, Samso and Guti for Vargas, Pau López, Javi Prats, Nolla and Alberto.

The match referee showed eight yellow cards. Of the two teams, Javi Grillo, Almerge and Moustapha from the local team and Alberto, Javi Prats, Cano, Campeny and Reina from the away team received a yellow card.

With this away victory, the team from Vilajoana occupied seventeenth place with 24 points, occupying a relegation place to the Third Division, while the team led by Iván Martínez was in eighteenth place with 17 points, also with a relegation place to the Third Division, at the end of the match.

The next day the Ejean team will play away from home against Andratx, while CE Europa will seek victory at home against Huesca B.
