The Spanish pilot Cástor Fantoba, world team runner-up and 20-time Spanish acrobatic flight champion, has led the launch of Acro Academy, an initiative that “aims to provide specialized training” in both Spain and Portugal.
This was indicated this Wednesday by the Fantoba press team, through a statement, regarding specialized training also in UPRT (Upset Prevention and Recovery Training) and that opens “new doors in the world of aviation.”
“I feel honored to present the Acro Academy initiative, an innovative initiative that seeks not only to provide specialized training in acrobatic aviation, but also to transform lives,” Fantoba himself declared to the Grupo Albion communication agency.
“I firmly believe in the power of this training to unlock the potential of every driver. I look forward to seeing the positive impact the Acro Academy will have on our students, not only in their careers, but also in their personal growth,” Fantoba added.
In addition, Fantoba highlighted the importance of UPRT for professional and sports pilots, preparing them to face abnormal situations in flight, with confidence and security. Its initiative has been carried out in collaboration with companies such as Dares Aviación.
Conceived as a platform to discover and promote talent, Acro Academy offers opportunities for pilots with a PPL license with a minimum of 30 PIC hours, without previous experience in aerobatic flight. The selection process includes several stages, from registration to acrobatic evaluation and selection of finalists.
This initiative has the support of institutions in the aviation industry, including the Royal Spanish Aeronautical Federation (RFAE), Unlimited Aerobatics (UA) and the Central Acrobatic Club (CAC), and renowned sponsors such as DELTA Cafés, FORTIS and Marc VDS.
