Casemiro overtakes Real Madrid against Alavés

Casemiro He put Real Madrid ahead in the 15th minute against Alavés in Mendizorroza. The Brazilian headed a corner kick taken by Kroos from the right wing. Casemiro beat his defender and a shot came out that beat Pacheco.

The goal came after a double chance by Benzema that ended in that corner kick that ended with Casemiro's goal. The Alavés players complained to the referee claiming offside of Benzema on the play that ended in that corner kick. The assistant and the VAR did not signal anything and the goal went up to the scoreboard.
