Casademont Zaragoza dismisses Martin Schiller and Toni Muedra resigns as sporting director

ZARAGOZA, 18 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Casademont Zaragoza has reported this Tuesday that the Austrian Martin Schiller is no longer their coach and that the until now sports director Toni Muedra has submitted his resignation to the Board of Directors of the Aragonese entity.

The team from Maño, which currently occupies the penultimate position in the Endesa League table, with four defeats in the four games played, seeks to reverse the sporting situation with this change of bench. Until the arrival of the new coach, the assistant coach, Aleix Durán, will be responsible for the technical staff and will lead the team on a provisional basis.

The Aragonese team showed its gratitude to the Austrian coach, who was living his first season on the bench at Casademont Zaragoza, for his “professionalism” and “dedication”.

Similarly, the club also stressed the “involvement”, “professionalism” and “honesty” of the sports director Toni Muedra, who submitted his resignation to the club’s Board of Directors which, in an extraordinary meeting, accepted this request from the Valencian, who he came to the team in a difficult situation in the middle of last season, contributing with his work to the permanence of the team in the ACB.
