The Spanish rally driver Carlos Sainz completed his set-up for the 2025 Dakar Rally with the last stress test before the demanding race that will be held in Saudi Arabia from January 3 to 17, a physical test that “went well, even a ‘tad’ better than last year.”
“As is tradition before leaving for the Dakar, I repeat the stress test that I did at the end of the summer, to check again that everything is fine. The mechanics check that the car is fine and I have to check that I am at the same level. physically is also fine, we must check that the valve adjustment is in good condition,” said the man from Madrid from the ‘Healthing’ facilities.
In this edition, which is held again in Saudi Arabia from January 3 to 17, the Madrid native defends his crown after winning his fourth Dakar in 2024. And travel to the Asian country better than ever. “Very happy with the test, because comparing it to December of last year, just before the Dakar, it went very well, even a little better.
