With the British team, Carlos Rodríguez was seventh in La Vuelta 2022 and, far from leaving his good performance in a ‘Grande’ as an anecdote, he finished fifth overall in the last Tour de France 2023 – winning stage 14 -, being the best of the INEOS despite the fact that he did not start as the leader of the formation.
“We are delighted that Carlos is extending his contract until 2027. He has shown remarkable growth and dedication during his time with us, and it has been truly rewarding for us to be a part of. “In the coming years I hope to continue growing, not only as a professional cyclist, but also as a person, for me it is all about continually learning to be better. At the same time, I hope to achieve good results more frequently and continue to gain ground on the best riders of the peloton. I think that’s why this is the best place to continue growing and achieve great results,” he predicted.
