MADRID, 10 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz was “very happy” after getting the pass to the semifinals of the ATP tournament ‘NextGen’, which is being played in Milan (Italy), and highlighted the “level” that is offering in 2021 that it will be difficult to forget for the Murcian.
“I’m very happy with the level I’m playing at,” Alcaraz said in his interview on the court. “I am so happy! I hope to play the semi-final at this level. Serving is very important on hard courts and indoors. I am trying to improve my game with serving,” added the 18-year-old tennis player.
Asked about Wednesday’s game, in which he beat American Brandon Nakashima 4-3 (4), 4-1 and 4-3 (4), he said they played “incredible points.” “He is a great player and we have also sought those points for the public,” he said.
Carlos Alcaraz, champion this year at Umag and a quarter-finalist at the US Open, has become the main favorite to win the ‘Next Gen’ title and take over from the Italian Jannik Sinner, current winner of the tournament.
