Carlo, the son of Mar Flores, blames drugs after his sentence: “I am not in my right mind when I commit these crimes”

Charles Costanzia (30), son of Mar Flores, is one of the men who has given the most talk in recent weeks due to the 21-month prison sentence he received for fraud related to the sale of luxury cars .

Her mother already assured that she was devastated: “Life has stopped.” According to her, her son had been used by a partner, whom Carlo himself has sued. Now it is her turn to explain to her son, her actor.

Thus, Costanzia sat down this Thursday on Antena 3, the chain where her mother works in the afternoon, to defend herself. After being sentenced by the court, he lamented: “The time has come to tell things because the media overwhelming that this issue has had and all the fallacies that they are saying are causing me many problems at a professional and work level. After this no one wants to work with someone who is supposed to be a scammer“.

In this sense, the actor Toy Boy (Antena 3, Netflix) has begun to explain. On the one hand, he has made reference to another sentence he received. Due to this sentence, he is currently in the third degree regime and wears a telematic bracelet: “I am serving a sentence for having driven under the influence of alcohol and drugs without a license.”

Later, Carlo has spoken of the new crime for which he has been convicted, that of fraud and 21 months in prison. He has assured that he was naive because his partner made him believe that they could earn money by buying and selling luxury cars: “He is not a fool: he is a professional in this.” In this sense, he has thrown balls outside and has victimized himself: “I’ve been the useful fool in this story. I haven’t been the smartest in the world.”

Although he blames his partner, he has admitted that he committed these crimes. At this point, it is when he talks about his problems with drugs: “When I commit these crimes I am not in my right mind. I have needed the help of psychologists. I have had addiction and drug problems. I’ve been in a rehab problem for eight months. I’ve been in therapy.”

In relation to his psychological state, he has regretted the bullying he suffered in his school years. Also the media pressure of having famous parents. The ex of Alessandro Lequio and the Conde Carlo Costanzia of Costigliolese they divorced in 1996 after around four years of marriage.

“At the age of seven I go to psychologists, I have psychological treatment, they even prescribe antidepressants between the ages of six, seven, ten, eleven, which is when I go with my father. And indeed, later on, the psychologist came to tell me that There comes a time when I have to get to unlatch the room because they believe that I may have self-flagellation problems or attempt to harm me”, he explained.

He also recalled how he fell into the world of drugs: “I had my first contact with substances when I was 10 years old. I start with alcohol, tobacco, hashish and then that lasts for a while. In my adolescence I hit rock bottom.”

Carlo Costanzia and his problems with justice

Carlo has taken refuge these days in the house that his mother has in Madrid while she fulfills her professional commitments in Ibiza. The situation is complicated for Carlo, because as we said, the young man already has a criminal record.

The model spent the night during the month of October 2022 in a prison after being stopped at a traffic control. In November he was granted a third degree regime with a telematics bracelet that he has worn ever since and which requires him to be located by the authorities at all times.

Regarding the new sentence of 21 months in prison for continued fraud, his defense insists on presenting him as another victim of the alleged ringleader of the plot, RBM, with the same sentence as that of Carlo Costanzia.
