Carevic, heading to Serbian Vojvodina

Marko Jovanovicsports director of Vojvodina Serbian, has confirmed that his club and the FC Barcelona have reached an agreement for the transfer of Lazar CarevicMontenegrin absolute international goalkeeper for the Barça subsidiary, with a contract in force until 2023. The terms of the agreement or the price of the operation have not yet been disclosed.

Carevic (23 years old) will sign for three seasons five years after having reached Barça’s Juvenil A from Grbalj and helping to conquer the UEFA Youth League 2017-18 albeit playing only once in the group stage.

Sergio Barjuan have relied more on Arnau Tenas as the starting goalkeeper this season, in which the Montegrin has only played nine games. During his time as a Barcelona player, with 25 appearances under the reserve team, he has not made his debut with the first team, although this season he has been the third goalkeeper called in seven LaLiga Santander games.

The Vojvodina he will not participate in European competitions having finished in seventh place in his domestic championship.
