The Spanish tennis players Roberto Carballés and Bernabé Zapata reached the quarterfinal round of the tournament in Umag (Croatia), while Jaume Munar was left out this Wednesday after falling in the second round against the Italian Jannik Sinner.

The Italian returned to action after making the quarterfinals at Wimbledon and found himself with a tough debut against Munar.
The Balearic stood up in two long sets, two hours of play, but could not with number 10 in the world. Meanwhile, fellow Spaniard Zapata beat Danish Holger Rune 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 in his second match on Croatian soil.
The Valencian, who also came from losing in his debut in Gstaad, precisely against Munar, will be measured for a place in the semifinals with the Italian Giulio Zeppieri.
