The number one coffee liquor brand in the world, Kahlúa, will award 22,000 euros to a couple who manages to spend a whole month without Internet or social networks through mobile, computer, tablet or any electronic device.
This test is part of the challenge ‘Stir up your routine’ (Stir up your routine) that the Kahlúa brand has launched with the aim of making people aware of the amount of time we spend in front of the screens instead of investing it with our beings most loved.
“Screen routines have come to dominate our daily lives, but they also steal quality time from our relationships. That is why Kahlúa wants to help couples break away from the mundane and inject more fun into their day-to-day together”, notes the company.
For those who wish to participate, they can do so through the Kalhúa website until January 2, the deadline to register. This new challenge will begin on January 16 at 6:30 p.m. and will end on February 15 at 6:30 a.m.
Couples who want to do so will have to send a video in which they will have to explain how they met and why they want to participate in this challenge. During the 30 days that the challenge lasts, they will be provided with a box to store their electronic devices and a kit with different activities to entertain themselves, such as an initiation to feng shui and culinary challenges.
For now, the challenge will be for residents of the United States over 21 years of age. In that country, more than half of people spend five to six hours a day using their mobile phones, according to a study referred to by the liquor brand.
