Camilla, Kate, Meghan and the different ways to wear a ‘total black’ look

Two days after the death of Isabel II, we continue to witness historical moments. As expected, all members of the British royal family are wearing black in mourning for the death of the monarch last Thursday, September 8, in Balmoral (Scotland).

However, each one has brought a personal touch to the look. Especially Camilla Parker Bowlesthe new queen consort, Kate MiddletonPrincess of Wales, and could not miss the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle.

The queen consort wrapped her husband this Saturday in the ceremonial act of proclamation with king. For the occasion, Camilla chose a black dress with a V-neckline, long sleeves and a loose silhouette. She completed the look with low, wide-heeled pumps. In addition, she did not leave her shiny pearl necklace that we have already seen on more than one occasion.

In her debut as Princess of Wales, Kate stayed true to form in a fitted, long-sleeved gown. For the shoes, she chose suede stilettos with a pointed toe and a stiletto heel. As a complement, Guillermo’s wife wore her engagement ring, which belonged to his deceased mother-in-law, Diana of Wales.

Meghan Markle

The mother of Archie and Lilibeth, who are now princes due to the accession to the throne of their grandfather Charles III, opted for a simple design with a short sleeve and a bateau neckline or better known by the British press as the ‘Meghan neckline’. She accompanied her look with shoes similar to Kate’s and put a touch of gold on her jewelry.
