Cameron Norrie wins the Indian Wells 1,000 Masters

MADRID, 18 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

British tennis player Cameron Norrie culminated his great career in Indian Wells (United States) this Sunday and won the seventh Masters 1,000 of the season after beating Georgian Nikoloz Basilashvili 3-6, 6-4, 6-1 in the final.

The two players were looking for the best title of their sports careers and the award went to a Norrie who had to overcome a Basilashvili who raised a ‘break’ to win the first round and who came to be ahead in the second with a break .

However, the English player rebuilt to equalize and get the key break with 5-4 in his favor to take the game to a third and final set where he found little resistance in the Georgian to get the first Masters 1,000 of his career.
