MADRID, 7 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Spanish riders Tania Calvo, Sebastián Mora, Helena Casas and Erik Martorell will debut this Saturday in Mallorca in the second edition of the UCI Track Champions League, the Track Cycling Champions League organized by the International Cycling Union (UCI) and Discovery Sports Events, in which 72 of the best track cyclists in the world will participate.

The best cyclists in the world in the female and male categories participate in this second edition of the ‘UCI Track Champions League’, which will offer the same prize in both categories and will be made up of five rounds in four European countries.

The calendar will start this Saturday in Mallorca, and will continue in Berlin, on November 19; in Saint-Quentin-En-Yvelines (France), on November 26; and in London, on December 2 and 3.

Sebastián Mora, former UCI world champion and six-time European champion, was the first Spaniard confirmed to participate again in this new competition format that can be followed live through Eurosport channels and platforms.

Mora is joined and repeated by Tania Calvo and Helena Casas, Olympians in Rio 2016; and Erik Martorell, eighth in the last Europeans on track, to complete the Spanish participation in the competition that starts this weekend in Mallorca.
