Cádiz ties its ‘pearl’ Álvaro Bastida until 2026

Cádiz CF has made the renewal of Álvaro Bastida official until June 30, 2026. A well-deserved award for the youth squad, already common in the first team calls, with which he closes his fantastic week, since he has been the protagonist this same week with the U-18 team by giving Spain victory over Portugal in the IV Nations Tournament.

Bastida, with just 17 years and nine days, became last season, against Levante UD, the youngest player to make his debut with the Cadista first team in LaLiga Santander. In addition, he is the second to do so in all of history, regardless of the category, only surpassed by Pepe Castaño, who did it in 2015, with the team in Second Division B.
