Cádiz defeats Valencia in a duel marked by the alleged racist insult to Diakhaby

Cádiz, with a goal from Marcos Mauro in the 88th minute, took the victory against Valencia in a convulsive and controversial duel marked by the alleged racist indicent to French Moutcar Diakhaby.

The Valencian central defender said enough in the 29th minute and decided not to continue playing after hooking up with Cadista Juan Cala. Initially, the Valencia players left with Diakhaby showing their support for what happened, but after 25 minutes they returned to the field to end the contest, although without the presence of the Frenchman.

With Diakhaby already in the stands, the game resumed, missing a unique opportunity to strike a blow on the table against racism. To add to the shame, Cala, the one who allegedly made the racist comment towards Diakhaby, was substituted after the break.

Before the unfortunate incident, Cala himself had overtaken Cádiz by taking advantage of a lack of understanding between Gabriel Paulista and goalkeeper Jaume Doménech (14 ').

Valencia did not shrink and shortly after a great assist from Gonzalo Guedes and a better definition from Kevin Gameiro established the tie (19 ').

In an even second half, he decided a header from Mauro that surprised Jaume. With this victory, Cádiz settled into the quiet part of the standings with 32 points, one less than Valencia.
