The Burnley-Everton became this Friday the third match of the Boxing Day postponed due to Covid. In addition to this meeting, Liverpool-Leeds and Wolves-Watford will not be played on December 26.

Everton’s request was initially rejected, but Rafa Benítez, the ‘Toffees’ coach, said he only had nine players to face Burnley. Everton himself announced this Friday that the meeting had been postponed.
