The Spanish tennis player Cristina Bucsa has passed the first round of the tournament in Lausanne (Switzerland), in the WTA 250 category and played on clay, after beating the French Kristina Mladenovic (6-4, 7-6 (3)) on Tuesday. , while Nuria Párrizas said goodbye after losing to Croatian Petra Martic (6-2, 6-2).

Despite losing her first serve of the match, the Cantabrian of Moldovan origin reacted with a ‘counterabreak’ to strike again in the eighth game (5-3). The gala answered by breaking their service again, but Bucsa closed the partial to the rest.

In the second round, the exchange of breaks, three from each part, forced them to play the ‘tie-break’, where the Chisinau team emerged victorious to meet the Swiss Simona Waltert.

However, there could not be full Spanish in the Swiss contest after Nuria Párrizas was eliminated against Petra Martic. The Granada, 54 in the WTA ranking, responded with a ‘counterbreak’ to the Balkan’s first break, but could not prevent her from adding four consecutive games.

After defending her first serves of the second set, Párrizas gave up her serve twice to put the Croat on track for victory in just over an hour and a quarter of play.
