Bruno Guimaraes will replace Casemiro for the duels against Venezuela and Uruguay

Brazil called up Bruno Guimaraes, from French Lyon, to replace Real Madrid player Casemiro for the games against Venezuela and Uruguay of the South American qualifying rounds for the Qatar 2022 World Cup, as reported this Saturday by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF).

Guimaraes will replace Casemiro, who tested positive for covid-19, as Real Madrid communicated this Saturday to the Canarinha medical department.

The five-time world champion will begin her preparation for the next two matches of the South American qualifying rounds from November 9 at the Comary Farm, the CBF sports complex located in the mountainous region of Rio de Janeiro.

On the 13th of that month he will face Venezuela at the Morumbí stadium in Sao Paulo and four days later he will play against Uruguay in the Centennial of Montevideo.

Brazil leads the qualifying rounds with six points, the same as Argentina, pHe had the best goal difference, after beating Bolivia 5-0 and Peru 2-4 in the first two days.
