Brock Purdy throws for a perfect score as the 49ers win.

First, Purdy was proud to have his name written in the record book next to Joe Montana’s as one of the only Niners starting to get a perfect rating within a game in at least 10 attempts.

Montana did this in 1989. Second, Purdy said that the fact that the passer rating didn’t go up doesn’t mean he thought it had been a “perfect” game.

Third, Purdy said that his friends and coaches were to blame for how well he played in San Francisco’s 27-14 win over the Buccaneers of Tampa Bay.

Purdy said, “What an honor.” “On the other hand, I still wish I had some plays and other things back.”

I’m not happy with just that, however I thought the game was great with the guys within me, the coaches, and the play calling—everything. I really think that shows how good the team is.

On Sunday, the Niners won their second straight game, pulling further away from the three-game loss streak that ruined their October.

They are now 7-3 and have a one-game lead over the rest of the NFC West division. Even though this has been said many times already this season, Purdy might have played his finest game yet.

This was Purdy’s 18th start of the season and his first in the NFL against these same Buccaneers. On their first drive, the offense came off to a slow start.

But the rest in the way, they barely missed. Purdy finished 21 of 25 for 333 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions, good enough for a perfect 158.3 rating.

The two halves took almost the same amount of damage from him, but in different ways. Purdy completed 14 out of 17 passes for 164 meters and a touchdown in the first half.

His seven completions out of eight in the second quarter led to 169 yards and two touchdowns.

One of those touchdowns was a 77-yard pass to receiver Brandon Aiyuk early in the fourth quarter.

When the Bucs played man defense, Purdy did most of his best. He threw for 210 yards, which was the high point of his career, and scored all three touchdowns.

Purdy has the most touchdowns in the NFL this year with 16. He has scored 16 scores when facing a man.

When they got to the San Francisco 12 yard line, they had a second-and-four with 6:52 left. It took three straight incomplete passes from Baker Mayfield for Tampa Bay to lose the ball on downs.

The Buccaneers, on the other hand, forced a three-and-out and a punt from Mitch Wishnowsky, that Deven Thompkins returned 51 yards towards the San Francisco 13 prior to Dee Winters pushed them out of bounds. The Buccaneers didn’t score.

As the 49ers had second-and-6 from their own 9, tight ends Cade Otton dropped a score. The next play, rookie safety Jayir Brown picked off Baker Mayfield while Nick Bosa hit him while he was throwing.

Because Talanoa Hufanga hurt his knee and had to be taken away in the second period, Brown played.

Early on, Brown dropped a pass for 41 yards to Rakim Jarrett, but he came back with a pick in the end zone against Baker Mayfield.

Brock Purdy had another great day throwing the football. He threw for three touchdowns and helped the San Francisco 49ers beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 27-14 on Sunday.

Purdy completed 21 out of 25 passes for 333 yards and three scores, giving him a perfect passer rating of 158.3.

He was the first 49ers quarterback with at least 15 attempts to do this since Hall for Famer Joe Montana in 1989.

Again, Purdy did a great job for the 49ers by throwing a touchdown pass of 76 yards to Brandon Aiyuk within the third quarter. This gave San Francisco a lead that they wouldn’t give up.

That was Purdy’s best touchdown throw of all time; it beat the record he set last week. Purdy threw three or more touchdowns for the second week in a row.

This is the first time during the regular season that he’s had two games in a row with three or more touchdowns.

Two times in the fourth quarter, the Buccaneers came close to cutting the 49ers’ lead, but youngster Ji’Ayir Brown scored the two most important defensive plays of the game.

Brown picked off a fourth-down pass to Mike Evans in the penalty zone to stop a Tampa Bay drive with San Francisco ahead by two scores.

On the Buccaneers’ next possession, he picked off a tipped pass in the end zone to keep the score at 27-14 and pretty much seal the win for the 49ers.
