Brock Bowers, a tight end from Georgia, opts to enter the NFL draft.

He told everyone on Tuesday that his plan would be heading to the NFL Game in 2024. They beat Florida State 63–3 in the Orange Bowl, but Bowers didn’t play.

A Georgia offensive tackle named Amarius Mims also signed up for the draft beforehand the Bowes did.

Even though Mims hasn’t been fully fit lately because of illnesses, he didn’t play within the Orange Bowl either.

He strained his hip severely near the close of the 2023 season, so he took part in ten games. Bowers hurt himself on October 14 against Vanderbilt, but he played again on November 11.

It was clear that he hadn’t been fully fit for Georgia’s final contest of the season. The pick doesn’t come to be a surprise because the junior end was thought to be picked with the first round throughout the April draft.

His chances of being picked are thought to be as high as tenth or even fifth. Bowers wrote the Bulldogs a long letter to say goodbye.

In it, he told themselves he would continue to play football professionally and thanks everyone to feed their support over his three years in the team, in his family to the fans in Athens.

During his three years in Georgia, Bowers played within 40 games, such as 10 games in 2023.

He was sick four times this year and missed four games, but he nevertheless caught 56 passes to 714 yards and six touchdowns. People in the US believe he is the best tight end.

Bowers made an immediate impact as a freshman in 2021 as part of the Bulldogs and was named among the All-SEC or All-American selections three times.

The Bulldogs won the inaugural national title to 41 years thanks to his 56 receptions for 882 yards and 13 touchdowns.

As a junior, Bowers caught 63 passes, gained 942 yards, and scored 7 touchdowns. They went 15-0 and won their third straight CFP national victory with his help.

Bowers had TightRope surgery upon his left ankle on October 15, 2017, at the end of last season.

He missed some games and all of three of them. Even so, he caught 56 passes, gained 714 yards, and scored six score.

Last season, all FBS tight- Ends had over 494 yards after being hit. He weighs 240 pounds and is six feet 5 inches tall.

Because of the ankle injury, he didn’t play much in Georgia’s 27-24 loss with Alabama in the SEC title game, and he didn’t play at all in the Capital One Orange’s 63-3 win in Florida State on Saturday.

This past week, Georgia ad Kirby Smart said this about Bowers: “His legacy will be that he is a great athlete or an able-bodied guy.”

“I’ve not seen a kid get healthy after being hurt like that.” He changed how people worked and what we did when we were under threat.

He’s been as a machine in how hard he’s worked to get better. Our team will be changed by the level he made there for a long time.

On social media, Bowers wrote, “Dawg Nation, words cannot adequately express how thankful I are for all of what these past thirty years have caused,” “It has been a tremendous honor and joy to serve this school.”

It gave me memories that will last a lifetime. He won the Mackey Trophies as the best end in the United States as a junior.

Bowers got the Mackey Prize again, even though he had to have tightrope surgery on his ankle after his final season at Georgia.

He competed in 10 games this season and caught 56 receptions for 714 yards and six touchdowns.

Bowers caught 175 receptions for 2,538 yards or 26 touchdowns in 40 games. He help Georgia win the national title twice in a row.
