Brazil snatches Belgium number one in the FIFA ranking and Spain remains seventh

MADRID, 31 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Brazilian team rose this Thursday to number one in the FIFA men’s world ranking, snatching this privilege from Belgium, which had been leading the ranking since October 2018.

The ‘canarinha’ regained first place just one day before the draw is held in Doha for the Qatar World Cup with a total of 1,832.69 points, compared to 1,827 for the ‘Red Devils’, while in third place they France maintains with 1,789.85.

As for the Spanish team, their position does not change either and they continue for another month in seventh position (1,719.09 points) so they will also be seeded in the World Cup draw.
