Brandt Tilis has been named Executive Vice President of Football Operations by the Panthers.

Brandt Tilis has been named Executive Vice President of Football Operations by the Panthers.

The Panthers have added another important person to their administrative staff as they plan for the future. As the new vice president for Football Operations, the team has hired Brandt Tilis, who used to work for the Chiefs.

Dan Morgan, who is new to the Panthers as President of Football Operations and General Manager, will be in charge of the football leadership team.

For the past 14 years, Tilis has worked for the Chiefs, the last three to be vice president of football operations.

Tilis will be in charge of all football administration as well as non-coaching issues that have to do with things like operations, equipment, video, analytics, and more.

He will also be in charge of negotiating player contracts, making sure that the NFL bargaining Pact and league rules are followed, managing the salary cap, and being in charge of labor and maintenance.

Tilis was Kansas City’s main contract negotiator. He brings a methodical approach to the cap or contracts to a group of qualified men who will work with new head coach Dave Canales.

“It’s nice to add Brandt along with his experience to our existing organization,” said Morgan.

He comes from a Kansas City team that won a championship, and he will be in charge of our front office. We can not wait for him to get here and work with us to build this group of people.

He has been their main contract agent since 2017 and helped set up a system that lets them give QB Patrick Mahomes a record-setting $450 million, 10-year contract extension within 2020.

Brandt Tilis, who used to work for the Chiefs, was hired by the Panthers as their new chief operating officer for football operations on Wednesday.

The football executive staff will be led by Dan Morgan, who was just hired as the Panthers’ president for football operations and general manager.

Tilis brings an analytical view to the cap and contracts. He was Kansas City’s main contract negotiator as well as negotiated Patrick Mahomes’ contract.

Tilis will be in charge of all football administration or non-coaching issues that have to do with things like operations, equipment, video, analytics, and more.

He will also be in charge of negotiating player contracts, making sure that the Collective Bargaining Agreement or league rules are followed, managing the salary cap, and keeping things running smoothly.

The team said in a statement, “It’s great to have Brandt or his experience join our group.” We can not wait for him to get here and work with us to build this team.

He comes from a Kansas City team that won a championship, and he will be in charge of our front office.

Tilis has been with the Chiefs for 14 years, the last three in his present position. He started at the club in 2010 as a salary cap and contract analyst.

Before that, he was director of salary cap and football-related analytics from 2014 to 2016 and director of sports administration from 2017 to 2020.

Since 2017, he has been in charge of negotiating their contracts. He set up the system that let them give Mahomes an unparalleled 10-year, $450 million extension of his contract in 2020.

The organization officially hired Brandt Tilis from Kansas City as their executive vice president of football operations on Wednesday afternoon.

He now works with Dan Morgan, who is the new VP of football operations as well as general manager, in the team’s new front office.

The first time Tilis played in the NFL was as an intern in 2004 for the Oakland Raiders, who were then the Oakland Raiders.

It took him three years to work there before he moved to the league’s labor operations department and worked there as an intern and then as the coordinator of labor operations.

Tilis started working for the Chiefs in 2010 as a salary cap or contract analyst. His next job was as a director of salary cap or football operations and analyst in 2014. In 2017, he was named director of football administration.
