Former Barça American center Brandon Davies, 31, has signed for two seasons with Valencia Basket, coming from Armani Milan, the ‘taronja’ club reported in a statement on Wednesday.
“Valencia Basket has reached an agreement to incorporate the North American center with a Ugandan passport Brandon Davies into its first men’s team for the next two seasons,” it says in the note.
Brandon Davies arrives at the ‘taronja’ club after playing last season at AX Armani Exchange Milano, in which he averaged 13.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1 steal and a PIR of 14.9 per game.
The former Brigham Young University player from Utah played two seasons in the NBA before coming to Europe, where he has been part of Élan Sportif Chalonnais from France, the Italian Varese, the French Monaco and had his first experience in the Euroleague with the Lithuanian Zalgiris Kaunas, where he reached his best level as part of the ideal five in the 2018-19 edition.
In the 2019-20 campaign he arrived at Barça, where he played three seasons in the Endesa League averaging 10.3 points, 4 rebounds, 1.4 assists and a PIR of 12, while in the Euroleague he reached 10.5 points, 4 rebounds, 1 .5 assists for an average rating of 11 with the Catalan team. Last year he returned to Italy, to Armani Milan, the last stop before returning to Spain.
