Brais Méndez joins the Spanish concentration this afternoon

Luis Enrique’s squad for the matches against Greece and Sweden will finally be made up of 25 players

Celta forward Brais Méndez will join the concentration of the Spanish soccer team in the City of the RFEF in Las Rozas (Madrid) this Monday afternoon to prepare for the matches against Greece and Sweden, corresponding to the qualifying phase for the Qatar 2022 World Championship.

Brais Méndez, who will replace the injured Yeremy Pino, has defended the shirt of the national team on three occasions, with which he debuted, with the current national coach, Luis Enrique Martínez, on the bench, in 2018 against Bosnia.

Luis Enrique will not be able to count in the last two qualifying games for Qatar 2022 with the injured Ansu Fati, Eric García and Pino, and has called up Raúl de Tomás, Diego Llorente and Brais Méndez. Finally, the list of acquaintances will have 25 players.
