Brahim Díaz: “We want to do great things”

Brahim Diaz, a player for the Spanish Under-21 team, assured this Friday, the eve of the match against Italy (9:00 pm) that they want to “do great things” in the European Championship and “win the title.”

“We want to do great things and win the title. We look forward to being here, ”he said at a press conference.

A Brahim That will be a doubt until the last minute, as reported by the coach Luis de la Fuente, by a strong stomp that he suffered in victory against Slovenia (0-3), but he is confident of being able to recover in time: “I feel better and I hope I can be for tomorrow's game,” he commented.

A meeting that will be special for him since he is on loan this season at the Milan from Real Madrid. Two of his teammates play in Italy like Matteo gabbia Y Sandro tonali -the latter will not be able to participate due to sanction-, and assured EFE that they were bitten before traveling to Slovenia for the championship dispute.

“We were talking about this game for several weeks when we were there and we exchanged a word about the typical player's pique. We get along well, tomorrow we are rivals. Sandro is not there, he is a very good player, but we have to think about ourselves, “he declared.

A match that will serve as a level test for Spain under-21: “The Spanish team is always on the map and the other day we showed that we have a good team and that we can do great things together. Tomorrow is a beautiful moment because we are facing a great team ”.

Gonzalo Villar, named best “MVP” player of the match against Slovenia, also appeared and commented on how he lived the days after that match.

“To the players, and especially the young people, everything that comes out comes to us and on one side or another you read it. When you are in a good moment you are happy to see what is said, but it is not something important. When it goes well and when it goes bad, looking at what others think … can hurt you if, for example, when you are doing well you think you are Andrés Iniesta ”, he explained.

Also, connoisseur of the Italian game by playing in the Rome, analyzed the strengths of the rival of Spain: “It is a football that is not as defensive as before. There most of the teams play with a defense of five and the two lanes are very important. In Spain you play more inside and there you play a lot outside. I imagine they will try to attack on the wing ”.
