Real Madrid's Spanish player Brahim Díaz is clear that they have started the year “very well” and now they have to focus on the Copa del Rey, a competition in which they also want to “win” and revalidate the title they won last year against CA Osasuna.
“We are in a very good moment, we have also started the year very well, and now it's time for the Copa del Rey, one more competition in which we want to win, with Madrid competing for all the titles, so facing it in the best way and respecting the rival. We are Madrid and we always have to compete to win,” he highlighted in an interview with Mahou, after being named best player of December.
The former AC Milan player assured that he is “very grateful” for the love and affection of all the fans. “It's very special. Above all I'm grateful to my teammates because it's been a very good month,” he commented.
The man from Malaga also wanted to make an assessment of the games that the merengue club has played this last month. “I think every moment has been very nice, very special, whether winning the game or getting points for the team,” he noted.
“The most beautiful thing, of course, has been celebrating each goal with the fans at the Bernabéu, it has been incredible,” concluded the white playmaker.
