MADRID, 21 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Real Betis footballer Borja Iglesias acknowledged this Tuesday that he would like to see both Messi and Mbappé in LaLiga, at the same time that he confessed that he has not yet spoken with the Spanish coach, Luis de la Fuente, and that he sees the same possibilities of go summoned than with Luis Enrique.
“I have not spoken with Luis de la Fuente,” said the player in statements to the media during the AS Sports Awards, where he also stressed that he sees the same chances of being called up with one coach or another. “The same I suppose. I think it’s always like that. I wish Luis the best, both of them,” he said.
The ‘Panda’ told how he lived the World Cup in Qatar, although he acknowledged that once they eliminated Spain, he did not follow it too much. “I really wanted to enjoy this team. It’s true that it couldn’t be at the World Cup and after they eliminated us I saw little, the final and a few more games,” he acknowledged.
In addition, the Betis striker confessed his admiration for the Argentine Leo Messi and the Frenchman Kylian Mbappé. “I would like to see both of them in the league. That the championship has great players like they are is always good,” he said.
Finally, the Galician wanted to assess his football season and highlighted the good work of his club. “I am very happy with my year, with the desire to continue growing. In addition, I am very proud of the work of my teammates and especially of the club. I think we have taken a small step forward,” he concluded.
