Borja Iglesias could be loaned out in the winter market for the Real
Betis, because at the moment he is the third forward in the preferences of Manuel Pellegrini despite being the second most expensive signing in the club's history – after Denilson – and having one of the highest salaries in the squad. Borja Iglesias' scarce role entails his devaluation in the market, hence the sports management is considering his transfer to another club where he can take flight.
Borja Iglesias has not scored a goal in an official match since last January 19 against Real Sociedad, date from which he has participated in a total of 23 league games, 13 of them as a starter, although with Manuel Pellegrini it has only been one time in the last nine – precisely against Real – after having enjoyed the title in the first two, settled with victory but without goals or occasions, from the Galician forward.
The club will also assess offers for other players
The transfer of Borja Iglesias is one of the options that sports management is considering in this winter market, according to ABC, either with or without a purchase option. In addition, Betis will evaluate offers for other players on the squad, such as William Carvalho -which Benfica intends- or Loren himself, who has not yet enjoyed ownership in any of the eleven games with Pellegrini and whose departure in January as transferred is another of the options that is contemplated and one of the ones that could generate greater capital gains when balancing the salary limit, which Betis has currently widely exceeded.
