Pep Boada has not wanted to say goodbye to Granada in silence and has published a farewell letter in which he faces with integrity and realism the decision that the Nasrid club has made. “We are fully aware that We have not fulfilled the objective that we had set for ourselves, which hurts us deeply and we assume the consequences. It has been a shorter period than desired, but we assure you that from the first minute we have worked hard”, explained the former sports director.
The Catalan assured that both he and his team have “always made the decisions that were in our hands in order to benefit the club. It has been a difficult season in which the results have not accompanied“.
In addition, he wanted to make public his “sincere admiration” for the Granada fans because he has accompanied them “match by match” and has supported them “when the team needed it most”. Boada also wanted to thank “the treatment received by the Granada employees because they made us feel at home”.
Finally, a wish: “That Granada return to the place that corresponds to it and that its fans deserve so much. Now, more than ever, eternal fight”.
