In a letter sent to the court to which Cadena Ser de Málaga has had access, Bluebay accuses José María Muñoz, judicial administrator of Málaga and the Al-Thani companies linked to it, of a series of legal breachess: not presenting annual accounts, leaving the club and companies without a management body or skipping the obligation to convene a General Meeting, which, in short, prevents Bluebay from controlling the management of the company Nas Spain, which has the majority of the shares of the Málaga Football Club.
The aforementioned hotel company has sent a notarial letter to the judicial administrator informing him of the alleged abandonment of his duties and urging him to convene a general meeting in Nas Spain and Malaga. At the same time, Bluebay asks the judge to require Muñoz to fulfill his legal duties and take note of these alleged breaches.
Jose María Muñoz was appointed judicial administrator of the club by the head of the 14th court of Malaga María Ángeles Ruiz on February 20, 2020 after decreeing the dismissal as president of Abdullah Al Thani, and of his sons Nasser, Nayef and Rakkam as advisers. This mandate was recently extended until next January already 2022.
Bluebay, a hotel company, is the second largest shareholder in Malaga (the first is Abdullah Al Thani) and of the company that has the majority of the shares of the club. He has made no secret of his intention to take over the management of it and even a few weeks ago, at a press conference, he presented his plan to manage the Malaga team.
