Birgander (Joventut) will have to undergo surgery for a broken finger

MADRID, 3 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Joventut Badalona center Simon Birgander will have to undergo surgery to treat a fractured finger on his right hand, so he will be out for the next few games.

“The Swedish player suffered a fracture of the distal phalanx of the third finger of his right hand and will undergo surgery to fix the fracture. The evolution of the injury will mark his return to the courts,” the Catalan team announced in a statement.

‘La Penya’ beat BAXI Manresa (68-90) this Saturday with an outstanding performance precisely from a Birgander who forced to play, with 13 points, 7 rebounds and a PIR of 21.
