Bill Gates and Melinda are already grandparents: their eldest daughter, Jennifer, gives birth to their first child

The tycoon and his ex-wife, divorced since June 2021, are in luck: their eldest daughter, Jenniferhas given birth to her first child, the result of her marriage to the Egyptian businessman Nayel Nassar. She has announced it with a tender photograph in which the feet of the newborn are shown, whose name is unknown: “Sending love from our healthy little family”.

One of the first reactions to the publication has been from the grandmother herself, Melinda Gates: “Welcome to the world. My heart overflows.” The brand new grandfather Bill Gateshas also congratulated them: “I am very proud.”

The young couple, who met at Stanford University, got married in New York in October 2021. They said “I do” in an intimate ceremony by the Muslim rite and later in a civil ceremony, before three hundred guests. All on the North Salem farm, a fifty-hectare horse farm valued at fourteen million euros that the bride’s parents gave her after graduating in Medicine. The proud best man, Bill Gates, congratulated the couple with an emotional message: “Jenn and Nayel, it is impossible to put into words how happy it makes me to see you full of joy on your wedding day. I am so proud of both of you for everything you what they have achieved in their lives so far and everything they will do in the future together”.

A few months earlier, the Gates had announced their divorce after 27 years of marriage. Despite the recognized infidelities of the computer magnate, everything happened in a friendly way. They divided one of the largest fortunes in the world (130,000 million dollars) without too many disagreements and now they are devoted to the charitable foundation they created in 1999. They have also promoted a movement with which they invite the richest on the planet to donate their fortunes to create a better world.
