Bild: Sancho accepts United's mega contract

Jadon Sancho continues to approach Manchester United, an English club with which he would have already reached an agreement according to Bild. As the German newspaper reports, the Borussia Dortmund star would sign a five year contract that would put him on the Red Devils' top salary tier by collect a total of £ 340,000 (€ 377,877) per week. This sum would be equal to 17.6 million euros per seasonThat is, about 88 kilos for the five-year contract that he would sign at Old Trafford. To this amount bonuses would have to be added, which would make Sancho one of the highest-paid footballers in the sector.

Of course, the player's yes to United and the megacontract that he offers is only one side of the coin, the other looks quite ugly for the aspirations of a Sancho who is determined to take the next step in his promising career. The reason is Borussia Dortmund, a club in which the international with the English team has a contract until 2022 and hence, remains firm in its position to request 120 million euros from United for letting him go ahead of time. Always according to Bild, the club led by Hans-Joachim Watzke has not received a formal offer from United, a club with which he would only have been in contact through intermediaries.

What is more, in Dortmund they want to have things clear as soon as possible and, therefore, they would have imposed a deadline for Sancho's suitor. The operation would have to be carried out before August 10, the day the Borusser expedition will travel to the Swiss town of Bad Ragaz to carry out the pre-season prior to the return of the Bundesliga, which will take place on September 18. United, for its part, will be staying from Sunday at the Steigenberger hotel in Cologne for the Europa League finals. The town of Rhine is just over an hour from Dortmund, so it is to be expected that Sancho's future is resolved in brief.
