Bilbao, home of the Eurocup in June, among the favorite tourist destinations of the Spaniards in 2020

BILBAO, Jan. 9 (SportsFinding) –

Bilbao, which will be one of the Eurocopa venues next June, is among the favorite tourist destinations of the Spaniards in 2020, according to the “Tourism Habits and Trends Study 2020” presented this Thursday by Catch it on the occasion of Fitur 2020.

Atrápalo, an international company specialized in the online sale of travel and experiences, has presented, on the occasion of Fitur 2020, its “Study of Tourism Habits and Trends 2020”, in which the tastes and preferences of Spanish travelers are analyzed in The period 2019-2020.

According to company data, the Spanish-type tourist enjoys about four or five trips throughout the year, since he makes between two and three short-distance national getaways – not counting the summer – or two trips to European destinations and a Medium long distance trip.

The “Tourism Habits and Trends Study 2020” indicates those locations that will be recognized this year as getaway destinations, that is, suitable for a short trip in national territory of between one and three nights.

The most prominent locations in this section would be Rodellar (Huesca), San José (Almería), Allariz (Galicia), Villa de Valverde (El Hierro), Comillas (Cantabria), Taramundi (Asturias), Guadalupe (Cáceres), Almagro (City Real), Villafamés (Castellón) and Beget (Gerona). According to this ranking, the favorite destinations for a getaway have an average population below 2,450 inhabitants.

On the other hand, Atrápalo also advances the main Spanish 'City Breaks', the cities that at national level will stand out as urban destinations during 2020, among which Bilbao stands out, which will be next June one of the headquarters of Euro 2020 , which will be held in different countries of the continent.

In addition to the incorporation of Bilbao, in this new study they repeat Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Malaga, Madrid, Barcelona and Zaragoza as perfect places to get away this year, while Logroño and Valencia are again present in this list, and Granada and Vigo are released in this ranking of trends.
