Real Betis Balompié will face the little-known Ukrainian Kryvbas Kryvyi RIH in their ‘playoff’ for access to the league phase of the 2024-2025 Conference League, a tie that will be played on August 22 and 29.
The green-and-white team should not have too many problems in knocking out this rival, who plays their home games in the Slovakian town of Kosice and who last year were one of the revelations of their league, finishing in third place.
This gave them a ticket to play the third qualifying round of the Europa League, where they were unable to beat the more experienced Czech side Viktora Plzen, who won both games by 1-2 and 1-0, sending Kryvbas to play this Conference League playoff.
