Betic goal Dani Martín returns to the U21

He Betic goalkeeper Dani Martín has returned to the calls of the renewed U21 team, which is immersed in the qualifying phase for the European Championship in Hungary and Slovenia, to be held in May-June 2021, after miss the previous two games through injury against Macedonia and Israel in the month of November.

Dani Martín, 22 years old, was the starting goalkeeper of the U21 team at the start of the qualifying phase – triumph in Montenegro 0-2 in October last year – but missed the next two games, against Macedonia (won 3-0) and Israel (tie there 1-1) due to injury. In those two games the starting goal was Álvaro Fernández, Huesca goalkeeper, who this time is not called up, as the other two mentioned are Iñaki Peña (FC Barcelona) and Josep Martínez (Leipzig)

The combined that directs Luis de la Fuente saw the qualifying day of last March postponed, like the rest of the European teams, due to the health crisis and returns to the pitch with the match against North Macedonia that will be played in Skopje on September 3 from 18.45 hours.

The team will concentrate at the Hotel Pax in Torrelodones on Monday, August 31 at around 1:00 p.m. and will train in the Ciudad del Fútbol until trip to North Macedonia on Wednesday, September 2 in the morning. There, the national team will carry out the official training in the sports city of the Federation of North Macedonia, that same afternoon starting at 6.45 pm.

The next day, those of Luis de la Fuente will play their match at 6:45 p.m. Once the meeting is over, the expedition will return to Spain.
