Bernardo Espinosa leaves Girona after five and a half seasons

MADRID, 29 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Girona FC confirmed this Friday that Colombian defender Bernardo Espinosa will leave the club after five and a half seasons as a red and white player, having scored eight goals and given six assists in his 174 official matches with the Girona team.

Bernardo arrived in Girona in the summer of 2017, coinciding with the Montilivi team's first year in the top category. These 174 meetings correspond to two different stages: 52 in the 2017/18 and 2018/19 seasons, and then 122 between the 2020/21 and 2023/24 seasons.

“Girona FC thanks Bernardo for his work and commitment and wishes him good luck in his professional future,” the Girona club indicated on its website, which during this 2023/24 campaign is shining in the fight for the leadership of the First Division against the real Madrid.
