Benzema: “We’re going to have a good preseason and go for as many titles as possible”

MADRID, 20 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Real Madrid’s French striker Karim Benzema joined the Madrid team’s preseason in Los Angeles on Wednesday, and hopes to do “good preparation” to go for the “maximum” number of titles during the season.

“We are going to have a good pre-season and then we start as always to go for a maximum of titles because it is the most important thing in this club,” Benzema told the club’s official media reported by Europa Press.

Benzema begins his fourteenth season at Real Madrid, with whom he scored 44 goals last season and won the Champions League, LaLiga Santander and the Spanish Super Cup. “I am very well. During the holidays I rested one day and trained another. But above all I rested mentally,” added the attacker, who continued to receive the affection of the fans around the world during his break.

In the white team’s first training session in Los Angeles, Ancelotti’s men carried out a session of physical work and with the ball in the first training session in Los Angeles.

The first pre-season test will be this Sunday against FC Barcelona in Las Vegas, a ‘Clásico’ that the azulgranas face with more preparation, having played a match against Unió Esportiva Olot (1-1) and Inter Miami (6 -0).
