Benzema, proud to return

Despite having missed a penalty, Karim Benzema was “proud” to have returned to wear the shirt of the French team. Regarding his pair with Kylian Mbappé, he added: “We have tried, especially against a team that defended with 5 defenders and in a low block. It is difficult, but we have to fine-tune it in training. Didier Deschamps also had words for Karim Benzema, who did not want to throw responsibility for the missed penalty: “He is not happy about the missed chances, but he was there.
