Benefited and harmed by the dismissal of Mourinho

With the departure of José Mourinho from Tottenham officially sealed, the dressing room is preparing for a new revolution. The shaker is shaken, and, in that movement, players who had gone to the second and third plane throughout the season can regain a leading role, while others can go the other way or cut the good progression they had with the Portuguese. All these novelties, with the underlying objective of qualifying among the top six in the Premier and the Carabao Cup final this weekend against Pep Guardiola's Manchester City, which could give the first title to the entity since 2008.

The three players who can benefit the most from Mou's departure are, without a doubt, Aurier, Dele Alli and Winks. The former has had his pluses and minuses with the coach throughout the season, even leaving Tottenham Hotspur Stadium prematurely after a heated discussion with the coach at halftime of a game against Liverpool. Even so, he has played 23 of the 32 games in which he has been available.

In the case of Dele Alli and Harry Winks, both talents who were expected to be much more than what they are giving, today's may be the best possible news. Starting from scratch with a new coach can open the doors to ownership and, if not, at least the club, because returning to play even sporadically can make new options appear for both.

However, there are also players who can lose out. Although it is paradoxical because of how the relationship between the two began, Harry Kane has never been a better footballer than under José Mourinho, and now you will have to consider if you want to stay to lead the new stage or if you prefer to look for your future far from north London. In another part of the field, that of the defense, the main loser may be Joe Rodon, who was settling in the center of the rear but that, with the change in the bench, he can return to occupy a secondary role due to the problems that the spurs were having behind.
