Bellerin: “The minutes they give me are the ones I’ll play and enjoy”

BARCELONA, 31 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The FC Barcelona player Héctor Bellerín assured that he is happy with the playing time he is having at this start of the championship, despite an injury, and added that he will enjoy the playing time that he continues to have from now on, with options to say goodbye to the ‘Champions’ from the pitch of the Doosan Arena in Viktoria Plzen.

“I’m very happy. I don’t know if I’ll play but if I do I’ll enjoy it to the fullest. The minutes the coach gives me are the ones I’ll play and enjoy,” said the Blaugrana right-back, who returned to the club this past summer.

In general, he assured to be “enjoying a lot”. “It’s difficult when you arrive so late, you lose the preseason and it’s harder to adapt. But it’s been fast, I’ve had a soleus injury but I’m happy with the minutes, I’m very comfortable in the team and I’m very excited, we have a lot of potential and note the improvement of the team”, he added.

Thus, he advocates fighting until the end and not thinking about whether or not he will continue to be a Blaugrana next season. “You never know what is going to happen until the last moment and the important thing is to enjoy it. The clearer my mind is, the better I am. For me, each match is not about examining myself but about enjoying the experience,” he repeated.

As for the match against Viktoria Plzen, inconsequential as Barça is already eliminated from the ‘Champions’, he believes it will be important to win “dynamics”. “Winning helps to win, to gain confidence, to try new things and improve our game. And we are Barça and like Barça we have to win everything. We have to go out and win and get positive things”, he argued.

Although none of this means that they are “disappointed” by the elimination. “On many occasions we deserved more and it’s disappointing. But we’re aware of what a good team there is and we’re showing it in LaLiga. best level,” he recalled.

“There have been injustices but we cannot excuse ourselves for it, we have to take responsibility. But there have been things worthy of debate, at least. And in football in general there is less and less patience and very fast results are expected. We have to prepare projects that have face and eyes, and the process is long. Confidence and continuing to improve is important because Rome was not built in a day,” he said.

“Not everything is black or white, it is difficult to know why things happen or why they turn out better or worse. Defensively we are fine but we play against very good rivals. Football is mistakes and successes and the result depends on this”, valued the Blaugrana youth squad.
