Bayern offers free PCR to those who go to the Super Cup

While UEFA negotiates with Hungary to relax the requirement of a negative test for coronavirus to anyone who wants to enter your country, Bayern Munich have decided to offer free PCR tests to all their fans that they already have in their possession a ticket for the final of the Super Cup that they will play against Sevilla on Thursday of next week.

The European Super Cup will be the first continental match organized by UEFA with an audience after the coronavirus crisis broke out. The organization approved that 30% of the capacity of the Puskas Arena stadium can be covered in the match, which means that some ten thousand spectators will be able to follow the meeting live. But after this step, Hungary tightened the conditions for entry into the country, which has put even the venue of the meeting at risk. While the discussions continue, Bayern have taken the initiative and summoned the 3,500 supporters who already have tickets for the final next Monday and Tuesday in the parking lot next to their own stadium. There they will carry out, totally free, the coronavirus tests and those that test negative will be able to travel without problems to Hungary.

“The Super Cup in Budapest will be a pilot match that will kick off the return of fans to our competitions. We are working closely with the Hungarian Federation and its government to implement measures to ensure the health of all who attend and participate in the match. We will not take risks with people's safety, “said UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin..
