BARCELONA, July 31. (EUROPEAN PRESS) –

Lithuanian forward Mindaugas Susinskas, 2.04 meters tall and 28 years old, will play for Bàsquet Girona next season after arriving from Niners Chemnitz of the German BBL, where he has played for the last two seasons.

“Mindaugas Susinskas (Alytus, Lithuania, 1995) is a new Bàsquet Girona player for the 2023-24 season. The forward comes from the BBL, the German league, where he has played the last two seasons with Niners Chemnitz”, the ‘gironí’ club announced.

Last season he scored 9.8 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 33 regular season games. Susinskas is the seventh signing for the team led by Salva Camps, the new coach of the Endesa League team.

“I am very happy to have signed for Girona. It is a great city, with a great basketball club. I have always wanted to play in the ACB, because I think it is the best domestic league in Europe,” said the Lithuanian in statements provided by the club.

“I want to learn as much as possible from my teammates and from Marc Gasol, one of the best European and world players of all time. I can’t wait to get here, to work and I hope we achieve our team goals”, he added.
