Baskonia pursues the first European victory of the year
BARCELONA, 7 MAR. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Bitci Baskonia hosts Anadolu Efes Istanbul this Tuesday at the Buesa Arena (9:00 pm), in a match from Matchday 20 of the Euroleague Regular Phase, with the intention of taking advantage of the smile for having beaten Real Madrid in the Endesa League to cut his European losing streak.
Baskonia has not yet been able to win in the Euroleague so far in 2022. In the eight games played, eight defeats. A very long losing streak that they want to put an end to against Anadolu Efes, who are the current champions of the competition.
It will not be easy at all to put an end to the bad dynamics, and even less so against an Anadolu that is in a good moment. But the Baskonistas have just knocked down Real Madrid (72-80) at the WiZink Center with 17 points from Steven Enoch.

Ergin Ataman’s men arrive in Vitoria at a good time, with four victories in the last five continental games. And they arrive with a Shane Larkin who returns again to the Buesa Arena as the rival’s most valued player, along with a Vasilije Micic who was ‘MVP’ in 2021.
