The American point guard Kamar Baldwin will play for Baskonia for the next two seasons, until 2026, the Vitorian club announced this Sunday, thus making its first signing for the next season.
The one from Georgia, 1.83 meters tall and trained on the Butler Bulldogs team at the University of Indianapolis, comes to the Baskonista team from the Italian Dolomiti Energia Trento, with which he averaged 13.9 points, 4.3 assists and 14.4 valuation credits in the transalpine league. In addition, Kamar scored 15.2 points, 4.5 assists and 15.1 efficiency in the Eurocup.
The 26-year-old American game director has experience in the Turkish and German leagues with Turk Telekom and BG Gottingen, respectively, and was part of the Boston Celtics development league team, with who averaged 13.1 points, 4.9 assists and a PIR of 15.7 in the 2022-23 season.
