Barça wins the first game of the final against Palma Futsal

MADRID, 21 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Barça took the first step to retain the Futsal League title after beating Palma Futsal (4-2) on Tuesday at the start of the First Division playoff final, which is played to the best of three games, thanks to a brace from Dyego and other goals from Adolfo and Ferrao.

Jesús Velasco’s pupils were dominating the match almost from the beginning, but they had to sweat the fat drop to get distance on the scoreboard. Five minutes into the match, Dyego made it 1-0 with a tight right foot to the base of the post. Palma Futsal did not collapse and found oil in an individual action by Higor, who squandered carats on the floor of the Palau Blaugrana.

A picadita before Dídac’s exit served as a finishing touch to a magnificent dribble stepping on the ball after four minutes. The tie lowered the pulsations and it was not until the final stretch of the first act when Dyego scored again for the Blaugrana. Another right hand from outside the box surprised the Balearic goalkeeper.

As soon as the second round started, Palma returned to battle and Nunes made it 2-2 to an empty goal after a delivery error by the culé goalkeeper. Seven minutes later Adolfo shot with the 3-2 and Ferrao, with six to go, scored with a tremendous shoe that slipped through the entire squad. A 4-2 that sentenced the islanders in this first duel of the final.

The second match of the final, already with a title option for the Catalans, will be played this Saturday at the Son Moix Municipal Sports Palace, starting at 8:45 p.m.
