Barça opens with a victory and Madrid, with a draw

Barça finished its first game in the VI International edition of LaLiga Promises with a sweaty victory, due to the temperature and the demands of Atlas, thanks to a goal from Adrià in the last minute (1-0). Now, the Catalans will play for the leadership on Saturday against IdeaSport, a team formed by Disney and that fell to Atlas for clarity.

Jordi Poma and Martí Vila’s squad came out with only two starter players to ensure a good start to the game and avoid surprises, and they did well, because just starting Pau Espi had to make a one-on-one save. Although the azulgranas took the initiative, they lacked to make the difference in the last meters. Only Siriki, who was the deepest, had a clear one that skimmed the crossbar.

Barça suffered to beat Atlas, which little by little, yes, ended up losing meters until the game was overturned by the azulgranas on their half of the field. It wasn’t a torrent of chances, but Adrià was alive to score the winning goal in the last breath.

The first to achieve victory was the team from Seville (2-0), who controlled the match against the Americans, a physical and tough team and that some had to do something else but succumbed to goals from Ruso and Adrián.

It was even more complicated for Villarreal, who won by the minimum (3-2) when it seemed that they had the game under control. Dallas knew that not winning left them out and they tried to come back, first making it 1-1 with Liam with a spectacular volley, and then trying to reduce Villarreal’s two-goal lead, which in the end was enough.

In the other group, C, nothing has been decided yet. Atlético and Valencia were in charge of opening the tournament and it was the colchoneros who took the three points (2-1). Guillermo put Atlético ahead who, after conceding Valencia’s draw, were able to win in another good definition from Emaná.

The ‘che’ team was able to get even against Chivas de Guadalajara, who put up a fight until the end but finally fell in the final stages (1-2).
