Barça makes its facilities available to the Generalitat

Barcelona has made its facilities available to the Generalitat, faced with a hypothetical collapse of healthcare or any other extreme circumstance for which it was necessary to enable different spaces to face the social demand due to the coronavirus.

Sources from the Barça entity confirmed to EFE that it is a generic offer, dealt with in its day on the board of directors, although it is unlikely to be implemented because the city has numerous facilities more suitable for this type of contingency.

In any case, the club, which has been in contact with the Ministry of Health, the Interior and the Catalan General Secretariat for Sport since the start of the health crisis, continues to maintain an active role in the fight against the pandemic, following all government recommendations and raising awareness among the population, with the help of their athletes and technicians, that they should remain confined at home.
