MADRID, 18 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Barça will defend its title in the Futsal First Division against Palma Futsal, after beating Viña Albali Valdepeñas (6-4), while the Balearic side beat Jaén FS (6-3) in the semi-finals this Saturday as well.
A single tie, to the best of three games that will begin on the 22nd, already separates Barça from a poker of titles in the first season with Jesús Velasco on his bench. The champion of the Spanish Cup, the Spanish Super Cup and the Champions League signed a fast-paced return against Valdepeñas, after the 0-1 culé in the first leg.
A decisive hat-trick by Ferrao prevented the La Mancha bell in the decisive event after several minutes in which extra time was around. The pass culé supposed the direct ticket for the next ‘Champions’ for the winner of the second semifinal.
Palma Futsal won this historic double prize for the club with a tremendous comeback over the team from Jaén, after 0-2 in the first leg. With a great first half, Palma fully entered the fight for its first league final, which they achieved in extra time. Diego Nunes was the hero, author of four of the six goals.
